I do not believe any governor needs FEMA to call on the National Guard. The governor should have declared martial law and issued a warning about looting and crime.
I'll repeat what I previously posted: All I could see was her and her aides sitting in a dry office. They were broadcasting, but many of her constituents didn't have a clue.
The governor, or her reps, should have been visibly out there. If the media could get in to cover things, they could have been there as well. I would imagine they have the sort of equipment for at least some of them to have gotten through. All I saw were the reporters and people scrambling.
