You ask for an investgation but not for pointing fingers then later you point your own fingers trying to lay blame. You seem to be using this tragedy as a way to get your policical view out.

Iraq and National security had nothing to do with this tragedy. These levees should have been upgraded YEARS ago.

Just to play along, let's say the SELA project had received all the funds that they wanted for the past couple years. Would that have prevented the flood? No. They would be no where near finished having the Levees shored up in time. That project should have been done decades ago...
