I had some Silver Strikes that had quite a few bits of black tarnish and an overall dark orange look to the "gold" rings on the outer edge of the SS.

Here's what I used:

- Braun OralB Electric Toothbrush with a head I use for cleaning things
- Metadent Gel Toothpaste
- Flitz "high-end" metal polish

Here's what I do:

I use the Flitz to polish the SS and remove any tarnish. I then use a soft cloth to buff off the Flitz. This gave the SS a pretty good, but not perfect finish. Enter the Toothpaste and the Electric Toothbrush. I give the SS a good brushing and then rinse off the SS and let me tell you; it looks like new!
