I've always thought that the club should take a stand on the issue of roulette and tournament chips. If a casino asks that chips not be "harvested", then should we take them? Is the chip community endorcing or even promoting the act by having the chips in our price guides, on the convention floor and in all our collections?
Has a casino ever gone to the club and said "Please tell your people to stop taking our chips!"?
Just something to think about.
p.s. - Do as I say, not as I do. In my Canadian collection I have dozens of roulettes and tournament chips.
p.s.s. - I didn't take any CCGTCC tourney chips. I even forgot to pick up the set I paid for.
