Alice Berniece Blanck

Funeral Services for Alice Berniece Blanck, 76, of Montgomery are set for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at Metcalf Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 - 9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 869, Montgomery, TX 77356

I wish I would have known about this earlier and I would have gone to the visitation or funeral.

However, many of you who have been going to conventions for many years would surely remember Alice and Vernon Blanck who always worked the sign-in and reception desk in the front of the convention. They have not attended for a couple of years due to Alice's health. They have been members of the CCGTCC for a long, long time and knew everyone. Alice always had a smile and never a negative word to say about anyone or anything. She was always ready with a hug and wanted to know everything about my personal life (I once made the mistake of showing up at the convention without pictures of the kids - big mistake ).

Alice's passing is a sad event, but one which will release her from years of poor health. I wish Vernon the best and I send my dear condolences to the entire Blanck family.
