I received an email this evening informing me of the passing of Alice Blanck, wife of Vern Blanck. Alice had passed away on Saturday following a long illness.

Vern and Alice were regulars at the club registration tables till a few years ago when Alice got sick.

Alice was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. She will be dearly missed by all in the chipping community that knew her.

My deepest condolances to Vern and the rest of the Blanck family.
