That particular chip was found in the USPC records. The records showed 8 colors. Your chip appears to be purple. Purple was not one of the 8 colors.

Anyhow the chips shown in the records were delivered to H.C. Evans in Chicago in 1922.

I'm sure they are generics and that there were many other orders. I've found some 18 to 21 different colors (maybe more). Your chip was probably made in every color.
