Having to rely on both hearing aids as well as a TTY phone, no matter how much you spend, they can only help so much. And they do not keep your condition from getting worse.

The hardest part for me is not always being able to hear, but being able to understand what is being said. Of course, not being able to hear water running, phones ringing or birds signing leads to high water bills, missed calls, and the simple joys of life.

Hope you never loose your hearing, or jokes like this would not be quite so funny.

Still, brings a smile to my face.
