When I spoke with Vince at the convention, it was clear that he was still grieving. When I asked him how he was, he thanked me for the condolence card I'd sent him when Bettye passed, and his eyes filled with tears.

He seemed healthy enough, but I'm not surprised. He was a lost soul, and you may be right - he simply didn't want to go on without Bettye.

As Tyrus has detailed in his post, Vince and Bettye were not only great, fun-loving, open people, but were a great help to the club.

We'll all miss them both.
