which I guess was 23 months ago? I think we called them 'Chokens'. Osborne's then issued the first live ones (which was the one Ricky showed) and referred to them as 'Chipkens'. On their latest price list I just received they are now 'Combo chips'.
Prices aint coming down either.
$3 a piece reducing to $1.50 for 5,000 + tooling charge $1300
Lenticular needed?? Add a mere $1.20 a chip and extra $500 tooling
Hologram needed?? $3 each, minimum order 5,000. "Tooling from just $6960"

These are casino prices I guess its not surprising we havnt seen too many is use.

Maybe Im missing something but when you look at their regular token prices there is virtually no extra cost for hologram/lenticular. Their prices for hologram tokens are less than for the combo chips? Im referring to 'strike size' tokens (like the Riv has). I think the first such 'live' token was the $5 Topaz Lodge 50th Anniv so its certainly not a new technique.

I suspect someone might have just obtained a comparative PS price? Interesting to note the few such designs in AC (made by PS) are 500 and below LE's
