I first introduced these chips when I started purchasing them from Stan and Elen (NY and FL) several years ago. The total find consisted of 7,000 pieces. The cases were labled (I sent one to Howdy Herz) as being shipped from Reno to Evenston (?) IL via Railway Express; to a woman's club. About 40% of the pieces in the find had the overstamp. My only interest at the time was to cherry-pick the lot to pull all the uncirculated pieces.

I guess the woman's club had then stamped in denominations...
