Sure Jason, a 13 test could tell the age but it would be very expensive, surely more than the value of the chip.

I don't really care when the recarving was done, it doesn't matter. Any recarving is an alteration of the original chip and IMHO is worthless. It is not an original chip. It was messed up by a greedy person trying to market to a greedy collector who thinks that others will pay big bucks for his little piece of doo doo. I do believe that we are finding a few persons on this board who are saying a very loud, NO, to these practices.
