Nice story Mark. I haven't read much of Thompson's work, except a collection of brief essays (or simply thoughts) in a recent issue of Playboy titled "Postcards from the Proud Highway". Yes, I read the articles in Playboy each month!!

His insights were such that piqued my interest in his writing and have been meaning to obtaining some of his work. I'll have to pick up Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and give it a try.
