I'd like to make sure I've got my facts straight. Did AnthonyV get his chip? If Macoss61 "was a scammer" it's a little odd that he would have had such positive feedback in the past. Did someone hijack his ID? Do we know who Macoss61 is? It's also a little odd that that there would be a follow-up scam from Joshua offering a "second chance." It would seem that it's all part of the same scam.
If this is what happened then I certainly intend to contact EBay. I tend to rely on EBay's feedback feature (especially when a money order is the required payment) and would like to understand why it wasn't reliable in this case. I also don't like someone trying to steal $2500 from me.
