From a personal perspective, I would suggest that only accepting money orders may be one reason, and also the scan is not quite as clear. Sometimes it just depends on which buyers are looking - I can't send MOs as I'm not in the USA and the costs are high, but that's just me.

Having said that, if someone wants the chip it does seem that yours is a better deal. On another day your chip may go first - just one of the quirks of Ebay !
