Wow, at these prices, I should go buy some plain old ivories and recarve them, since it seems to increase the value 10 times, when it's a fake or reworked?

(I won't because I don't have the time, the skill or the inclination to do something I'd consider unethical)

But that does raise the question. Why wouldn't someone else see that they can turn a $20-$40 chip into a $300 chip, start working in their shop?
