I seem to remember reading that a buyer can "retract" their pay pal payment, for any reason or no reason, for 3-4 days. Because of that, it was recommended that sellers not ship immediately...some sort of scam where the buyers used pay pal, waited 2-3 days then cancelled payment after the item was shipped. Perhaps your seller was aware of that, and that's why he waited before shipping?
