...new to me anyway. I won an auction on the 12th (for a cd) and did a PayPal payment right after the auction closed. Not a word from the seller. After two emails, I finally received the following message from the seller:

I understand you paid on 8/12 however your payment didnt clear until 8/17 your item has been shipped you should receive any day.

Since my PayPal payments are tied to my checking account, the payment is instant. I haven't a clue about payments taking 5 days to clear.

Has anyone else come across this?
