Gamble downtown, off strip or towards the Stratosphere, eat downtown, off strip or towards the Strat, stay downtown, off strip or towards the Strat, visit the strip to walk through the casinos. The casinos on the strip are well worth touring. It can take you several days, even if you don't do much gambling there. Examples of free stuff to do: dancing fountains at the Bellagio, Volcano show at the Mirage, whatever the pirate show is like now at the Treasure Island (TI), the Fremont Street Experience. There are so many things to see and do, you won't be able to do it all. Just have fun. If you play poker, tournaments can give you a lot of play for a small buy-in (they are all over), but you are less likely to finish with anything at all. Have an adventure, explore, have a great time.
