I was checking the value of the chip pictured below from the Red Garter in Wendover in Campiglia & Wells and had a friend check the value in the Chip Rack. Well, to my surprise, C&W list it as a 15/30/45 value and TCR lists it as an "A" chip, $1-$2. What????!!! Can anyone explain how the two guides, both highly respected can disagree so thoroughly on the value of this chip? Does anyone have any opinion as to how this chip should be valued in a trade?? I'm so confused! FWIW, my chip appears to me to be in "mint" condition (it shows no sign of use I can see with the naked eye), so the range of value is at its greatest.
