...what I do is (since they bang you three bucks a day for unlimited local calls anyway), I unplug the hotel phone and connect the laptop to the phone jack...program the laptop to dial 9 plus your ISP''s
local phone # and you're connected.
All the rooms I've stayed inlately have little wireless keyboards, but it's $$$$$ to use!
