The reason no limit appeals to young players is because it is somewhat reckless and exciting.

Somebody once said good poker is like watching paint dry. It is a game of patience. I've always been a stud player and I've sat in poker rooms and folded hand after hand after hand...... to finally get some cards and only win a very minimum pot... not very exciting stuff....
