When Harrah's pulled out of the downtown property, they took the Horseshoe name with them. It was back in the spring, March 1st or 22nd? Maybe someone can provide the exact date.

Harrah's was part of a three-way deal, they managed the casino for the new owners for two years, then took the name and left. They now own the rights to the Horseshoe brand in all 50 states. Speculation is that there will be a Horseshoe on the Strip sometime in the not-too-distant future.
