I just checked out his other auctions. I'm by far no expert, but if I spent four days playing with these chips in the casino last month, would that not make them current?
The Silver Slipper casino opened in 1967, as stated. According to the Canadian Chip Guide, these were not the first chips issued. The first Silver Slipper were a hot stamp. He states that they are rated high in Campiglia's book, yet the chips descriptions dont match any of the $1 chips from the Slipper.
Any thoughts are appreciated. I'm not sure if I am feeling like I was taken to the cleaners for offering them at $4 each or if this guy is playing a bit of a scam.
