Wow, convention #13 is now history. Hard to believe. I mentioned to Archie on the last day that I'd been walking around on Saturday asking each dealer how the convention was for them. I remember in 1993 and 1994 when I did that, figuring that if the dealers had a good enough convention, we could actually have another the next year. I guess we don't have to worry about that any more!

Jim and Sandi Steffner did a great job, as usual. Jim received an honorary life membership this year, and it was certainly well-deserved.

If I start thanking people I know I'll miss someone, so I won't. But every one of the Club volunteers who helped to organize volunteers, chair committees, and man the Club tables, did a fantastic job. It's time-consuming and sometimes stressful, and every one of them deserves our thanks. Without people willing to do the work, the rest of us wouldn't have a convention to attend.

Thanks to Greg for his 5th Annual pre-convention ChipBoard get-together, and to Gene and the Palms for hosting it. Thanks to the seminar speakers for their time and for sharing such great stories and insights with us.

Thanks to the Board for doing such a great job over the past couple of years, and for agreeing to continue in their positions for another two-year term.

For me, the best part of the convention is seeing friends I only have the opportunity to see once a year. That's very difficult, and there's never enough time, but we all make the most of it.

Maybe that's why I'm so tired after the plane finally lands me back home.

Thankfully, we only have 10 months before the next convention instead of 14 months like we had this year. I can't wait!
