A VERY LARGE VOID - as I couldn't make the convention this year... This was my second convention I've ever missed!!!
The first was the very first convention, as I was taking Finals... (Yes a poor excuse)
This year I jacked up my back on July 27th, and have been taking a lot of ribbing (i.e. "I knew chasing Hurricanes and Tornados was a dangerous profession - I didn't know that taking pictures of Rainbows was as well!!!"..., etc...)
I truly wanted to be at the convention (not only because of my duties as Education Director and Auction Co-Chair, yet to see everyone that I only get to see once a year (which is NOT often enough...)
I was killing me laying on my back, as well as not being at the convention. From everything I heard it was a phenomenal convention!!! My hat is off to all the volunteers, Jim Steffner, BOD and everyone else that made it go so well!!!
I've already told my wife, "Since I didn't make the convention this year - I AM GOING to the Palms Show in November!!!" Now all I need to do is make sure that pesky work thing (A.K.A. my real job) will also let me attend... *VBG*

To those who I called (many times) during the convention to see how things were going - please forgive me for being a pest...

To those who called me to see how I was doing, and if they could pick up anything for me, You don't know how much that meant to me!!! THANKS!!!

Again I'm sorry Katie; I don't have a suggestion for a cure for the Post Convention Blues...
