I didn't have my camera, but I can give you a good review of this show. Generally I've heard that it's not as good as the Bellagio fountains, not a pirate battle or volcano either, and that it's not very good. WRONG! Anybody that says that didn't actually sit down and watch a few of the acts.
At sunset, people start milling around in the hotel, hoping to see the show. Many try to go out on the patio, so that they can watch - but are told there is a one drink minimum. As I watched, most people balked and stayed inside trying to get a glimpse of the action = MISTAKE!
I figured that 1 drink was more than reasonable, considering what Steve spent on this attraction, so I took a prime seat outside on the patio. They did a different 5 minute production every 20 minutes; perfect for wine & conversation! I'm not going to give away any surprises, but this much I'll say: the episodes are built around Wynns favorite music, from many different genres. COLOR abounds - and I have absolutely no idea how they light up the water for this show (it's not from lights above)! UNBELIEVABLE! There were many moments where my jaw dropped, and I wasn't the only one, as there was applause after each episode from the patio crowd. The poor folks inside the hotel could neither see much, nor hear the music... No wonder they think it sucks!
After the show, I had dinner at Daniel Boulud Brasserie right next to the Lake Patio, and noticed that they also have a similar patio, with great views - if you like top-notch food, book a reservation for this restaurant at 8pm (be on-time), and request patio show-seating...
