The final six players agreed to chop the money ONLY. When asked about the trophy, all six players agreed to play out the tournament to establish a champion. All six players fought a hard battle and the winner was a champion you should be proud of.

If memory serves me correctly, a couple years ago when they got down to two players, the prize money was chopped and they dealt one hand face up to establish a winner. This did not happen this year. They played the tournament out to completion and did not give up.
