our 5yr old yellow Lab is fine. She has a doggie door to her fenced yard, and a water lick-em stick. So thanks God she is OK. Like you we are dog lovers and consider her member of family. Actually the reason for my bad decision to have the girl, was we didn't want to put her in a kennel, she always goes with us on trips, but we couldn't take her for the first time ever.
