Wow, the story of the limostuds. That is kind of like "A Christmas Story", it gets told over and over each year and has become a legend, at least in our minds.
What most people don't know though is the legend of Bob Whiteman and how he became one of my best friends. You see, I met Bob years ago when we were both auditioning for The Blue Man Group.
Neither of us got the part and were both devastated. We kept trying though, and both ended up doing a stint with the Village People. If you could see my other arm, you would know why Bob is smiling.
We both fell in love with performing, but ended up going our seperate ways. Bob was doing small but meaningful roles such as this one on The Andy Griffith Show.
While I went on to star in a larger project, Titanic.
After that, we drifted apart for a few years and didn't hear from each other. I became a chip activist.
I was caught here on casino surveillance video taking roulettes.
And ended up doing a little time in the pokey.
While I was in jail, Bob went to work for the Tropicana. He was in charge of their chip program for several years, but was fired after releasing this chip.
By then, I was out of prison and had purchased a drive-in restaurant. Bob, desperate for work, called me up and I gave him a job.
Even though Bob was an excellent lot sweeper, I had to fire him when he came to work without his regular uniform.
That didn't deter Bob though. He moved back to Vegas and bought a strip club. He even had special chips made. This one shows him asking the first question he always asked when he was interviewing a new girl.
That is where he met Kelly. They fell in love and he took her on a honeymoon to Alaska.
Everything was going good, until one day, in a freak accident, Kelly exploded.
Down on his luck and devastated after the death of Kelly, Bob saw me in a Vegas McDonalds checking out the competition.
We jumped in a limo and quickly invented the famous "Limostud Handshake".
And of course, the rest is history!
