..if you can't locate a volume control, look for pushbuttons...some models control volume by switch. You can also install a pot inline to regulate the volume (about $2 at your local radio shack).
BTW you're right about stealth home amusements...if you're going Japanese, that's the only co. to deal with!!!!!!!!
