Noticed this is going to be on Tues evening on Turner Classic Movies. You may recall that someone requested an ID on a large crown hotstamped "S S Fortune". Turned out TRKing had made them for this movie. I believe I started watching this film because of the gambling ship angle but found the gaming content very minor. If you like Nick and Nora smarting off and cracking wise, by all means...
In a related vein, I ran across this piece of movie paper the other day on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7532437580&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Thought I'd watch it as a companion piece for an S S Fortune chip. This is an item called a title card. Lobby cards at 11"X14.5" come in sets of eight for a movie and include 7 scene cards and the title card. Bogart cards, for example, always bring good money and I figured this item would go well but I'm surprised to find it at $157.50 with almost a day to go. Charlie Chan always gets good money too, go figure. BTW, this seller is the real deal, 16,085 feedback at 99.9 percent! The guy has run auctions 800 - 1500 items at a crack and you WILL get your prize ON time, EVERY time!
