I was going to post a question about the Hard Rock today. Does anyone have an exact date for the Grand Opening? Is there a special preopening nite? I plan on being there but I can't get anyone at Hard Rock to return my calls and they don't answer their phones. Do you have the name of a contact person?

Last I heard the date was Sept 7th but looking at the construction photos it seems optimistic. And they have not updated the web site in months and apparently have not issued a Press Release since April. I was hoping to make my New Orleans hotel reservations before the convention but I need a set date to go with.
