I've got a good bit of my chip collection on a 40-gig photo Ipod. Right now I have around 5,000 chip scans plus a couple thousand songs and I have 23 gigs unused. I'd think you could put your chip scans on your 60-gig and have room enough for more music than you could listen to during the rest of your life.

I also have a laptop with my collection in a database but the Ipod definitely is much more portable, although not quite as easy to search.
