Chip of the Day - Nebraska

This cheap chip was released in about 1992 by Big Red Keno in Omaha, Nebraska. Keno is legal in Nebraska and is operated under the guise of a local lottery. Big Red Keno is the official Keno contractor for the city of Omaha and started it's operations in Omaha 14 years ago. Big Red operates a main parlor and satellite games are in bars and taverns throughout the city. Big Red has expanded and is also operating in other Nebraska municipalities. The chip shown below was given out with some kind of promotion and was good for free keno play. The Peony/Cleo's names at the bottom of the chip were the main locations for the live game at the time. The live game at Cleopatra's has been closed for over 10 years. The only live game is at the Peony location and is broadcasted to all the satellite locations.
