Did anyone hear anything on the recent auction of a bunch of pretty scarce chips - and other scarce stuff - that looked like it probably a big scam? Here is a link to one of the auctions:

The guy had been selling postcards for a couple of years and then all of a sudden he listed a bunch of high dollar collectibles - chips, toy trains, comic books, etc. It sure looked like it might be a scam. A lot of folks notified eBay but it would appear they did nothing. I keep checking the feedback to see if the seller or buyers have posted anything but nothing has been posted so far. If it does turn out to be a scam I would hope the people have some recourse against eBay since they appear to have ignored numerous warnings about the chips in the auction. I suppose the bidders have no way of knowing that folks notified eBay unless they happen to read the Chip Board.
Here is a link to one of the threads on this board - as you can see, not everyone thought it was a scam. It would sure be nice to know if it was or not....
