Forget about all that fancy technology. Just re-introduce the Bud Jones coin-center chip, then give all floor bosses metal detectors. When the lights start flashing, follow in the direction of the indicator until you hear a constant loud buzzing noise. Heck, they could even check'em out on their days off and pan the desert for gold nuggets. More importantly it would be easier for me to find/buy CIC's for my collection.
