We at TCR only differentiate between H&C, H&C(CJ) and long & short canes (LCV) & (SCV). We don't list the 3 to 1 cane positions or short dumpy hats. These take much too much space to describe and they don't change the value. You can collect any varieties that you wish as we all have difference tastes and collectible preferences.

Personally, I think that your chip on the right is of poor quality, as the rim is not of a uniform width. I would keep the left chip in my collection and get rid of the one on the right.
