Something which no one seems to have mentioned.

IGS says it is there intention to buy chips and slab them and then sell them.

But this violates the basis for slabbing -- That one gets a third party expert opinion on the grade of a coin or card or chip.

But if IGS is the owner of the chip in question and they plan on selling them they are not a third party. In fact in this case it is clear that they have great incentive tover grade the chip because they are the ones who benefit from the overgrading.

I really really would love to have an IGS rep at the convention. This could be a lot of fun.
