I used to collect coins about 15 years ago but lost interest as the prices went up and up. Now, I see that I have to have them professionally graded and slabbed in order to sell them at fair market value. I DON'T want this to happen to chip collecting. It would eventually stifle the hobby. But the hidden repairs trouble me. Maybe the club would invest in an x-ray machine and charge a nominal fee for it's use??? Just a thought.
