I noticed there is a Flamingo Capri "match play" chip in DougSaito's auction next month. I took a look at those in my collection, I'm not sure if one of the two is the chip listed in TCR as E0463. My orange chip has different obverse/reverse; the TCR listing also indicates they are different, but doesn't say what's on the reverse. I'm wondering if there is also an orange chip with identical Obv/Rev?

If anyone cares, the two chips I show have different O/R alignment: the purple has perfect coin alignment, while the orange is neither coin nor medal aligned.

A second issue is one of color. As he often does, Doug takes issue with the color name in TCR. His auction pictures what he says is a lavender chip; TCR lists a purple chip. Does anyone have both these colors in their collection, or is this another instance of the "universal purple" color used in TCR listings? Doug's text description lists an incomplete TCR catalog number so can't really be sure which he was comparing the lavender chip to.

I'll take both my chips to the auction next month and we can at least answer the purple issue.
