You can use any image editor to place text over the image and mark it. There is also software that "watermarks" which blends the text into the image, so it can be seen, but doesn't obstruct like just plain text.

It takes a little to make the first one, but once you have a wartermark made, you can add it to all of your images, in an unobtrusive manner. You have to make a file that has your name or whatever as a gif or jpg image.
