Well, nothing has been done to stop the seller (or more likely seller's account thief) who has stolen scans of high dollar chips from other auctions that was reported to eBay by myself and others a few days ago.

So far, auctions with bids totaling almost $9,500 in other types of collectibles have closed and the seller has now added many more auctions of high-dollar collectibles that I'm pretty sure are bogus. They now have multiple lots of 5,000 old comic books listed, 25,000 comic books altogether.

Luckily, only one of their chips has bids at this point. One other had some, but they were cancelled. If you're considering bidding $250 or more on an eBay auction that closes today, you might want to read the board and consider carefully.

I'm afraid a lot of people are going to be taken before this one is stopped.
