Re: Testing My Digital Camera

Nice camera, nice pictures. When you want to zoom in on something in your travels, you might find the 3x isn't enough.

Otherwise, I've had good photo experiences and results with the Easyshare from Kodak.

ps Buy pleanty of batteries or get some rechargable NiMh sets. They have some 2500 mHa 8 packs with charger at Sam's for around $18.

You are going to need good rechargables, or go broke buying batteries. I don't know of a digital camera that doesn't just eat up batteries.

Something I didn't put in the responses to your questions.

It's almost always cheaper to print pictures at Walgreens or your local drug store, than to print them at home on your own printer. The quality is better as well. 29c a 4x6 print if you go to the "expensive" places. vbg Less if you look around. Many times you can find a special, about once a month, "print 50 pictures and get a free Photo CD of your pictures".

That means $15 and you get the pictures you would have printed anyway and the CD.

I've also seen offers for print 15 get 15 more free and plain old, 12 free prints.

Watch the ads in the newspapers and you can save a bunch if you are willing to wait for a deal to make your prints.
