I did not respond to the email - it did have a couple of links but when I looked at the message source they were valid eBay links. The thing that convinces me it is not a spoof is that the exact same message was posted in my "My Messages" on my "My eBay" page. Only eBay has access to that page so I am certain it is from eBay.
