To use the "Optional Image URL" at the bottom of the post you have to upload the image to the Chip Board using the "File Upload" in the yellow bar above. You can use a link, in the body of the message, to an image hosted elsewhere by using the *pic* option described in the "Formatting" link in the yellow bar above.
