Only in America could this happen:

Ealier this year I was aprroved for 100% disability by the Veterans administration due to serve hearing loss. As part of the paper work, they stressed that they would be checking with social security each year to ensure that I was NOT earning more then $810 (gross) a month.

Thus, I went over and applied for social security. Got the paperwork back from them today and they turned me down! Thus, if I do get a job, I loss the VA benifit, but if I do not, I have to try and live off of what I get from the VA.

Such is life in the bid city. To say that I am somewhat unhappy would be an understatement!
