WHERE: This private auction will be held in Diamond Mae’s Ballroom at Arizona Charlie’s on Decatur in Las Vegas.

WHEN: On Monday August 1, 2005, just two days prior to the opening of this year’s CC>CC Convention.

TIME: Trade sessions start at 10:00AM, and the auction starts at 3:00PM. At 6:00 pm, Chip Chat has made the room available for members of the local Las Vegas chippers to conduct their monthly meeting.

WHO’S INVITED: Any current subscriber of Chip Chat, and all members in good standing of the CC>CC.

HOW TO BID: In person, by phone, by Fax, or by mail. Instructions are described in the rules and regulations printed with each auction catalogue.

ORDER YOUR CATALOGUES NOW: Order your auction catalogues now! There are 137 auction lots seen in this catalogue, offering some of the rarest and most unusual chips ever seen for sale. All chips have been fully illustrated in color and there is an extensive written description of the condition for each chip as well as a brief commentary concerning either the chip’s market price, its rarity or its casino history.

FEATURES OF THIS CATALOGUE:

• There are forty-four Las Vegas chips in this auction. Featuring a small crown $5 Bonanza Hotel (on the Strip), a $1 El Cortez in a rectangles mold, a $5.00 Joker Club from North Las Vegas, a rare $5 Silver Slipper, a $1 FF New Town Tavern, a $25 Westside Story as well as two MGM Grand prototype chips that have never been seen for sale.
• There are fourteen Southern Nevada casino chips from outside of Las Vegas. Featuring a $5 Kactus Kate’s, a $5 Cotton Pickin’ Saloon from Pahrump and a $5 Odie Lopp’s from Laughlin.
• There are thirty–nine chips from Reno, Tahoe and Northern Nevada small towns. Featuring a very rare $5 River Boat, a $5 Collins Court Casino/Ely, a Hobey’s Sun Valley, a $5 Sun Valley Casino and a $5 Prospector from Verdi.
• Twenty-four auction lots are comprised of illegals, crest and seals, rarities from Montana, Washington and Idaho. Featuring a $1 and $5 chip from the Bay Club in Kemah, Texas; a crest and seal Jake’s Place from Aberdeen, Washington; a $1.00 Fink’s Billionaire Club from Gretna, Louisiana and Excelsior Club chips from Ohio.
• There are fourteen of California’s rarest card room chips. Featuring a Kelly’s Place from Santee, a Saratoga Casino “PAN” chip from San Jose, a $5 Chris’s Place from Holtville and a 25c Neptune Club from San Diego.

Price of an auction catalogue with color illustrations for each chip is $15.50!
