Dave,
Thank you sir.
As you can see I don't let Wayne and the ChipBoard bullies stop me from trading. It's a shame that they're actions reflect poorly on the club and its members, but at least they represent a minority. My $1 collection has grown to over 1,400 chips and, despite Wayne’s irrational warnings to other new chippers, I continue to actively trade.
Wayne's still holding a lot of pent up anger from an eBay sale in October of 2003. I think he understands the eBay policies now, but it was a psychologically painful experience for him. I think his brain is still spinning…and I’m sure that you can expect to see another ranting from him soon as he once again tries to justify why his ignorance of eBay bidding policies, and inability to find an alternative resolution, was logical.
On a series of recent posts Ken Nestle had s&h issues with an overseas sale but was able to figure out a reasonable way to conclude the sale (http://www.thechipboard.com/cgi-bin/tcb/tcb.pl?read=427541). I doubt he’ll be harassing the seller as Wayne continues to do. Another lesson to be learned here.
Oh well, happy chipping Dave.
