I contacted him when he used my scan for his first chip. He emailed me back with this response:
"hi. i am sorry. i didnt know i couldnt do that. my granfather does not have a scanner and he needed the money for his chips. He has 2 of them. I looked all over the internet to find a picture of what his chips look like. Thats when i found yours. I'm not sure if the auction is over but I will try and remove the picture"
At that point, the auction only had a few hours left. I reported him to ebay and never received a response from them.
He then cropped the Front Side image from the picture and used it for his second auction. He didn't even re-center it, but kept it on the left side of the image!!! I sent him an email demanding that he remove my picture or that I would report him to ebay.
We had a couple of email exchanges and then he called my house and got my voicemail. He called me a name that I can't type here and threatened me. Of course, he changed the picture at that time. (Probably stole someone else's scan.) What's funny is that it wasn't the same chip - the color of the skin was flesh instead of white so I let him know that he had commited fraud by using my scan of a different chip to sell his less valuable one.
Now a few days went by and I get an email from him identical to the one that you quoted. So he must either have the same one as I did or wants to get more money out of it.
What a guy!!! What a loser!!
